About the 2010 Annual Essay / Art Contest
The contest encourages students to learn about and understand the lessons of the Holocaust, including the nature and repercussions of unchecked hate and prejudice taken to their ultimate extremes. The Holocaust Essay Contest is one of the many venues used to reach students while meeting state mandated educational standards. It is our hope that such an understanding will promote cultural diversity and its acceptance. This contest is only open for Leon and Wakulla Florida students grades 4-12.
